Willie Mae (Williams) Newsom

Willie (Bill) Mae Newsom passed away on August 28, 2023, she was born on March 16, 1921 to Thomas and Eva Williams in Robertson County, Texas. She was one of 6 children and grew up in Grandview, Texas. She married W T Dub Newsom in 1940 and they lived in Smithville, TX until 1952 and then moved to Fort Worth, TX. They have 2 children William Thomas born March 18, 1944 and Jerry Lee born April 26, 1942. Willie Mae was a art lover she taught art classes after she retired, she was an avid hiker and nature lover. She was very active in the political Democratic party.She loved her family and friends and will be missed by all. She is preceded in death by her husband WT Dub Newsom, her parents Thomas and Eva Williams and siblings Howard, Jake, and Lewis Williams and Mariane Witt. She is survived by children  William Thomas and Jerry Lee Newsom, grandsons Andrew Thomas and Philip Russell Newsom and sister Jean Hennig.
