William (Bill) Kimmel Fisher of Lindale, Texas, entered into the arms of his Heavenly Father the Lord Jesus Christ, on Thursday, May 26th, 2022. He was 87 years old. He was born on August 8th, 1934, in Washington, Iowa. He married Donna Smith in 1958 and had 4 children. He resided for sixty years in Lindale, Texas, served in the United States Army, and became a transportation and safety manager for Tyler Pipe. He was also a long-standing member of Carmel Baptist Church in Lindale, Texas. He loved teaching Sunday School and playing the drums. He also loved to build furniture and refurbish antiques.
His parents, Ned and Edith Fisher, wife, Donna Smith Fisher, and brothers, Richard L. Fisher and Robert Fisher, were preceded in death. Also preceded in death were his children, Brad Fisher and Brandie Rodriquez, and her husband, Roberto Rodriquez of Lindale, Texas. He is survived by his two sisters, Margaret Jones and Marilyn Washburn of Peoria, Illinois. He is also survived by his two sons, William Ned Fisher and wife, Deanna of DeQuincy, Louisiana, and Brock Fisher and wife, Dea of Plano, Texas, and daughter-in-law, Darla Fisher of Lindale, Texas. He leaves behind ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 1st at 1:00 p.m. at Carmel Baptist Church in Lindale, Texas. The pastor, James Cheatham, will officiate. Carmel Baptist Church will provide a lunch reception following the service.
