William Jennings Colvin peacefully left this earth on November 5th, 2021. William was born October 19th, 1947 to his adoring parents Lola and Edward Colvin.
William was an avid outdoorsman, often spending his time in nature through his hobbies of fishing and camping. His love of the mountains and natural world led into a career in agriculture where he was tasked with sowing seeds to restore foliage after forest fires. One out of 10 children in a loving blended family, William was always close with his siblings and shared a life long bond with each of them. Family was one of the most important facets of William's life, and it showed through the love he gave his children.
William is preceded in death by his parents, Lola and Edward Colvin, as well as his beloved daughter Tammy Colvin. Left to treasure his legacy are his daughter Teresa Colvin and son William Roy Colvin, his siblings Thomas Colvin, Loyd Wimberly, Lois Rucks, Judi McElreath, Grundy Wimberly, Donie Pelc, Teresa Seargeant, Sydney Wimberly, and Jay Hensley; 3 Grandchildren, and 6 Great-Grandchildren; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, more information to be announced.
