Wanda Voncille Ellis

Wanda Voncille Ellis, 90, of Grandview, Texas, passed away on May 24, 2024, in Cleburne, Texas. Voncille was born on July 10, 1933, in Grandview, Texas, to William Raymond and Nettie Eliza Bennett Byars. She graduated from Grandview High School and was later employed by Spring Crest Draperies as a media buyer for 10 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, abundant in her kindness to those around her. Voncille found joy in spending time working in her yard and gardening. She will be dearly missed by her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Voncille was preceded in death by her parents, William Raymond and Nettie Eliza Bennett Byars; her late husband, Thomas Earl Ellis; her first husband, R.H. Thrash; and her sisters, Dorothy Wilson, Norvell Mckee, and Thelma Lewis.

Survivors: son, Mark Thrash Sr.; granddaughter, Brittany Thrash; grandson, Mark Thrash Jr.; and step-grandson, Randall Weber.
