Vickie Sue Kirby

VENUS – Vickie Sue Kirby, age 77, passed away peacefully on
January 29, 2025, at Community Healthcare of Texas, Burleson, TX.
Vickie was born on January 9, 1948, in Waxahachie, TX, the daughter
of Troyce and Ruth Scogin. Vickie graduated from Waxahachie High
School and went on to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse, dedicating
her career to working in various nursing homes where she provided
special loving care for the elderly.
Vickie married Loyd Lynn Kirby of Maypearl on September 6, 1969.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband,
Loyd.
Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Ann Randall and husband Ronny
of Venus, and D’Arcy Warrick and husband Devin of Alvarado; five
grandsons, William Lynn Randall, Joseph Frank Randall, Daniel Troyce
Randall, Austin Charles Loyd Scheffel, and Benjamin Lane Scheffel;
along with 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother,
Travis Scogin and wife Judy of Austin, and their family.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 23nd, at 1:00 PM
at the Venus Memorial Park, 5th Street, Venus, TX 76084.
