She enjoyed playing cards, fishing and cooking. Thelmer was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Thomas Houston, sons; Oscar and Anthony Clark, brothers; Nobbie and Vasteen Clark; sister,; Allie Mae Johnson;

Survivors: Son, Arthur Clark and wife Lenora of Fort Worth, daughters; Barbara Slider and husband Oscar of Itasca and Joyce Granger of Mansfield; sister; Florence Clark of Austin; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous neices and nephews.
