Tammy Hilton

Tammy Sue Hilton of Alvarado TX gained her wings on August 25, 2020, at the age of 47. Tammy was born September 6, 1972 in Cleburne Texas to Billy Paul Hilton and Glenda Sue Hilton.

She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and so much more. Her greatest accomplishment was being a mother to her two wonderful children Alyssa and Jacob. Tammy loved and cared for her children with all she had and was the biggest mama bear you ever  met. Tammy spent most of her working life caring for children with disabilities at Alvarado High School. She spent her early years working at several group homes and as a correctional officer in Venus TX.

Tammy was preceded in death by her grandparents Douglas and Helen Ruth Taylor and Hubert and Melba Hilton. Her uncles Archie Taylor and Dene Baxter. 

She is survived by her parents Billy Paul and Glenda Sue Hilton. Her daughter Alyssa Brachelle Hilton and Fiance Austin Payne, as well as her son Jacob Paul Hilton. Her brothers Billy Paul Hilton Jr, Charles Ray Hilton and sister in law Pamela Kay Hilton, as well as her younger sisters Melinda Gay Brookins and husband Ellis, and Helen Faye Beach and Husband Paul.

Tammy also leaves behind nieces and nephews which she loved as her own- Allen Morrow, Maurice Morrow and Teresa Weeden, Billy and Ashley Kersey, Natalie Brookins and John Drews, Marcus Brookins and Rebecca Harrel, Mercedes Hilton and Austin Scott, Margie Brookins, Carmen Hilton, Charles Ryan Hilton, Meranda Hilton and Lainy Rico. Tammy also leaves behind great nieces and nephews Lauren Morrow, Vanessa Brookins, Kalvin Brookins, and Liam Drews.
