Sylvian E. DeForest passed away on February 16, 2020 in Burleson, Texas. Sylvian was born October 1, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Sylvian Estes Deforest II and Tommie Dawson DeForest. Sylvian was a U. S. Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Katrina DeForest, and grandson, Maverick Stout.

Survivors: Wife, Gayla Suzette DuBose DeForest; Children, Shelley DeForest, Robert DeForest and wife Lauren, Amber Gordon and husband Jack, Stephen Stout, and Sammie; Grandchildren, Robert Tatman, Hailey Tatman, Camden Gordon, Maci DeForest, Teagan Stout, and Willow Gordon and River Gordon.
