Susan Louise Cochran passed away peacefully in her home after an extended period of declining health. Her family takes great comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her soulmate, Ronald, and is now happy and healthy in Heaven.
Susan was born November 27, 1957, in Taylor, Texas, to loving parents Marvin Fingal and Lily Mary (Gelner) Anderson.
On June 30, 1975, Susan married the love of her life, Ronald David Cochran. Together they shared 46 wonderful years of marriage before Ronald’s passing in 2022. Their deep bond was a foundation for a beautiful family life.
Susan was a devoted mother to her beloved son, Justin Cochran, and cherished her daughter-in-law, Shaina. She found immense joy in her grandchildren — Lilly Cochran, Paisley Gay, and Wyatt Cochran — who brought light and laughter into her life.
Susan had a vibrant spirit and loved spending time outdoors. She and Ronald shared many adventures, from deer hunting trips to long horseback rides. Susan also enjoyed reading, soaking up the sun at the beach, birdwatching, attending concerts, and faithfully keeping up with General Hospital. She was rarely seen without her favorite drink — a Dr. Pepper — in hand.
She is survived by her son Justin Cochran and his wife Shaina, her grandchildren Lilly, Paisley, and Wyatt, her brother David Anderson, mother-in-law, Letha Cochran, sister-in-law Teresa Beale, and sister-in-law Robin Anderson.
Susan is preceded in death by her loving parents, her devoted husband Ronald, her brother Bob Anderson and father-in-law.
