Sudie Tackett passed away February 25, 2025 in Keene, Texas. She was born in Lamesa, Texas on August 31,1936 to Garvin & Maude Whitehead. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Roy Tackett of Keene. Children, Beverly Sarradet, husband Gary of Tomball, Tony Tackett of Grandview. Grandchildren, Emily Miller, husband Rob of Burleson, Sydney Threadgill, husband Reese of The Woodlands, Joseph Sarradet, wife Larissa of Odessa, William Sarradet & Thomas Sarradet of Dallas. Six great-grandsons, Aaron Miller, Abraham, Isaac & Benjamin Threadgill, and Brett & Brendan Sarradet and many nieces and nephews. Sudie was also a second mom to Angela Young and Paula McGehee. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters.

Sudie was a lifetime homemaker and enjoyed crafting, quilting, working in her yard and church and community volunteer work. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Grandview where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir for many years.
