Steven Clay Gill, 65, passed away on August 16, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, craftsmanship, and deep devotion to his family and friends.

Born on July 7, 1961, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Joe and Lynn Gill, Clay was raised in Burleson, Texas. His life was defined by hard work, humor, and an abundance of love.

A master of his craft, Clay spent five decades as a dedicated CNC machinist. He channeled his lifelong expertise and passion into mentoring future generations, concluding his career as an instructor at Lincoln Tech.

Beyond his work, Clay embraced life with a wild spirit and a genuine desire to connect with everyone he met. Those who knew him will always remember his infectious laugh, his knack for bringing people together, and his love of sharing good food with great company.

Above all, Clay deeply loved his family. He is survived by his children: Amber Tollison and her husband Nathan, Adam Gill and his fiancée Ashley, Alex Gill, and Brennen Gill; his cherished grandchildren: Taylor Gill, Aidan Gill, and Bailey Gill; his siblings: Cherie Gill Dye and her husband Jimmy, Carey Gill and his wife Kaye, and Kristie Gill Bolton; his adored dogs: Piper and Ellie; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Lynn Gill; his brother, Craig Gill; his daughter, Maritsa Michelle Gill; and his daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Gill.

Clay’s vibrant presence, stories, and warmth will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
