Stella Lizzie Louise (Casteel) Epperson

Stella Lizzie Louise Epperson, 76. Went to dance with Jesus on November 27,2024.

Stella was born on December 15, 1947 to Boone Casteel & Birdie Curtis in Lewisburg, Tn. She married George Epperson on July 2, 1966 and eventually made their home in Venus. Stella was a spunky, funny, strong willed Christian Matriarch that never met a stranger. She would take you under her wing and treat you as her own.  She loved hard and if you were one of her own there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for you. She was our history keeper, our dream believer, our hope holder and without hesitation our protector. She welcomed all without judgement and open arms.  She was our everything and there will never be another one like her.

She is survived by her son Alvie(Tara) Epperson, daughter Jennifer (Mike) Davis, grandchildren Toya Moseley, Lacey (Kevin) Wright, Parker Davis, Kaitlin (Adam) Luna, Sean, D.W., and George Epperson, great grandchildren Wrenlee (Birdie) Moon, Marshall, Nash, and Oakley Wright, sister Katherine Armstrong and brother Walker (Pat) Casteel. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, brother and sister in laws. Bonus granddaughters Mikala Taylor and Tricia Kent.

She’s proceeded in death by her husband, her parents, grandchild Blake Moseley, father in law Alva Epperson, mother in law Pauline (Leon) Kiser, brother in laws Johnny & Ricky Epperson and Pete Armstrong, brothers and sisters Paul, Lawrence, Sarah, Melba, Florence.
