Shawn Junior Marshall, 58, of Covington, Texas, passed away on September 16, 2026, in Burleson, Texas. He was born on July 16, 1968, in Cleburne, Texas, to Roger and Martha Dell Marshall and grew up in Alvarado, Texas.

Shawn worked as a carpenter and was a quiet, gentle man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He especially loved sitting on the front porch and watching television, enjoying the peace and comfort of home.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Marshall, and his niece, Meghan Jennings.

Shawn is survived by his mother, Martha Dell Marshall; his sister, Sheila Jennings and husband Wayne; nephews Kristopher and wife Lauren, Joseph Jennings and wife Hannah, and Hunter and wife Zoey; along with many great-nieces and great-nephews who will cherish his memory.

Shawn will be remembered for his quiet nature, kind heart, and the simple moments that made him who he was. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
