Sebera Calderon Galindo 87, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022. Sebera was born April 20,1934 in Fort Stockton to Tiburcio and Francisca Calderon. She was 1 of 10 children. After marrying Juan Galindo and having 5 children, they moved the family to Fort Worth in the late 60’s. She was a devout Catholic; she and her husband loved singing in the choir, they had a prison ministry, and a bible study. She brought up all her children going to Church and staying close to God. She had a green thumb and had the ability to grow anything. Also, she was an amazing cook. She could make a delicious meal out of anything, but we loved her homemade enchiladas, tortillas, and pies. She had such a silly sense of humor, always keeping us laughing. Music was also one of her passions, especially “Little Joe” and “ Freddy Fender”. She would immediately smile and begin to dance when she heard their music. She had a special connection with her grandkids and great-grandkids. In the end, she suffered from Dementia. We are saddened by her passing, but know she’s dancing in heaven. We’ll always remember her beautiful, loving spirit and unconditional love. Our parents were always there for us with a nonjudgmental heart.
