Salvador Mendez

Salvador Mendez, 78, of Alvarado, Texas, passed away on February 08, 2025. Born on January 23,1947, in San Ysidro, California, Salvador was the son of  Arturo Mendez and Enryqueta Gonzalez . He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Sheila Annette Mendez, and a loving father to his children, Salvador Mendez Jr. and Angelina Marie Mendez. Salvador was also a proud grandfather to his grandson, Giovani Mendez.
A great family man, Salvador took pride in providing for his loved ones and spending precious time with his family. He loved fishing and working on his truck, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. His kind heart and willingness to help others in need left a lasting impact on all who knew him. His warm smile and compassionate nature will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his two children, Salvador Mendez Jr. and Angelina Marie Mendez, and his grandson, Giovani Mendez. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sheila Annette Mendez.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home at 11:30 AM. In honoring Salvador’s memory, the family expresses their gratitude for the love and support of friends and family during this difficult time.
Salvador's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be greatly missed by all.
