Ronald Eugene Owens

Ronald Eugene Owens, passed away on January 7, 2026. He was born on June 4, 1950, in Bonham, Texas, to Thomas Elihue Owens and Francis Louise (McBroom) Owens.

Ronald was a longtime resident of Grandview, Texas, where he lived with his beloved wife, Patricia Ann (O’Briant) Owens. He spent his career working in the automotive industry, a field well suited to his strong work ethic and mechanical skill.

Ronald greatly enjoyed the outdoors and found peace in hunting and fishing. He valued time spent outside and cherished moments shared with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Owens; his children, Marc Owens, Misty Owens and her wife Dawn; and his bonus son, Ronnie Bynog.

Ronald was a proud grandfather to Jesse Owens, Cody Owens, Shelby Owens, Tyler Owens, Dante Johnson, Hannah Owens, Kayla Owens, Rubie Owens, Ronnie Bynog, Jr., and Chastity Bynog-Rubie Owens. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Ja Cori Johns, Bobby Owens, Autumn Johnson, Landyn Johnson, Lux Johnson, Dante Johnson, and one additional great-grandchild.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will take place immediately following the service at Grandview Cemetery in Grandview, Texas.

Ronald will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to his work, and his appreciation for the outdoors. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
