Robert "Bob" C Whiting

Robert (Bob) Clifford Whiting, 75, passed away Thursday, February 13th, 2020 in Fort Worth Texas surrounded by his loving family. Bob will lie instate 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, February 17th at Clayton Kay Vaughn Funeral Home: 200 E. Patton Avenue Alvarado, Texas, 76009. Bob's funeral will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 18th, 2020 at Clayton Kay Vaughn Funeral Home 200 E. Patton Avenue Alvarado, Texas 76009.
Robert Clifford Whiting Sr. was born October 18th, 1944 in Rochester, New York as the son of Donald Charles Whiting and Mary McGary Whiting. Bob joined the U.S. Marine Corp in 1964. He married Cynthia Marie Martell February 12th, 1972 in Clarence Center, New York. Bob and his family moved to Alvarado, Texas in 2005. He worked as a crew member for McCoy's Building supply for 6 years. He was a very hardworking man. Bob loved to use his hands, and was always building. Bob took pride in his work life, in his property, and in his family. 
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; Donald Charles Whiting and Mary McGary Whiting. Those left to cherish his memory; Loving wife of 48 years Cynthia Marie Whiting and their 8 children listed from oldest to youngest; Angela Whiting, Rebecca Flanders & husband Earl Flanders, Jessica Farrington & husband Blue Farrington, Claudia O'neal & husband Timothy O'neal, Robert Whiting II, Katrina Whiting, Travis Whiting, and Erika Whiting. Along with Robert's children, he has 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Many lives were left behind to cherish and honor his memory, and he will be dearly missed.
