Richard Rolland Jackson

Richard Roland Jackson, 54, of Alvarado, Texas entered into Eternal Rest on January 6, 2022.

Richard was born on December 19, 1967 in Los Angeles, California to Richard Allen Jackson and Lynda (Brown) Jackson. He married Cynthia Marie (Brooks) Jackson on October 19, 2002 and they had two children that they happily raised together. Richard was known for the love of his family, Harleys, and being spunky and stubborn. He was an over the road truck driver since the age of 18 and he thoroughly loved his job. Unfortunately, an accident while driving ended his life in Nashville, Tennessee.

Those left to carry on his legacy are his wife, Cynthia and children Chris Jackson, Robert Jackson, Marissa Jackson and Alissa Jackson. He is also survived by his mother Lynda Jackson, step-brother Carl Gamache, brother-in-law, Johnathon Brooks, sister-in-law Catherine Morey and husband Dale, sister-in-law Cara Belew and husband Jared, father-in-law William “PaPa” Brooks, a host of nieces, nephews and very dear friends.

Preceding Richard in death are his father, Richard Allen Jackson, sister Rebecca Jackson, mother-in-law, Judith Brooks, Grandma Dell and twin stepsons Walter and Walton Jackson.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home chapel on January 14, Friday evening from 6-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 15 at the Sand Flat Baptist Church at 2 pm. The internment will follow at the Sand Flat Baptist Cemetery.
