Richard Allen Gillaspie

Richard Allen Gillaspie, 76, of Alvarado, went to be with the lord on October 5th, 2021. He was born on November 13th, 1944 in Alvarado. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Edwin Gillaspie and Mary Vick of Alvarado . 
After graduating in 1963 from Alvarado High School he married his soulmate Glenda Dowell in 1964 . Richard was a dedicated employee at E&E enterprises for 26 years & Quality Cabinets for 26 years . He was a avid hunter and a outdoor enthusiast . Richard was very skilled and had a love for cabinet and furniture building . Richard had never met a stranger, his smile was as big as his heart . He enjoyed his social time and was very passionate and devoted to his family . 
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Glenda Gillaspie and his children ,Teresa Mcbee and husband Mike Mcbee , Deanna Wallace and husband Marc Wallace . Grandchildren , Yancy Cornett , Jubal Cornett and wife Alicia Cornett , Keshia Rodriguez and husband Joshua Rodriguez and Kaleb Gonzales . Great grand-children , Harmonie Rodriguez, Layla Black , Heyddenn Rodriguez, Brooke Mcbee and Hadlynn Pieper. 
Richard Allen Gillaspie was so loved and will forever be missed.
