Paul DeGrant

Paul Wayne DeGrant, 73, of Alvarado Texas went to be with the Lord on October 15, 2020 in Burleson, Texas.

Paul was born on April 8, 1947 in Bonne Terre, MO. He was the son of George Anthony and Verna Dean DeGrant.

He was a graduate of Elvins High School in Elvins, MO. He served in US Army and later married Mary Hopper in 1967. He was a member of Alvarado Masonic Lodge, Moslah Shrine Temple, Scottish Rite, Alvarado volunteer Fire Department and Alvarado Reserve Police Department. He also served on the Alvarado City Council.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Verna DeGrant and brothers, Rick and Bruce DeGrant.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Ann DeGrant of Alvarado; son, Scott DeGrant and wife Julia of Conroe; sister, Georgia Dean Crowley of St. Louis, MO; brothers-in-law, Richard Hopper and wife Lina of Cleburne and Ronnie Hopper of Whitney; numerous nieces and nephews.
