Patricia Shepard Blair passed away on July 16, 2024, at her home surrounded by family. Born in Rochester, NY, she married her high school sweetheart, Harry, in 1963 in the town of Meridian, NY. Later, the family moved to Arlington, Texas.
Pat enjoyed serving her church by teaching children, singing in the choir, and playing the piano and flute. She also worked as a professional hairdresser and, for 17 years, as an assistant teacher for Arlington ISD.
Harry passed away in 2015, and Pat moved to Itasca, Texas, to be near her daughter and son-in-law in a barndominium built by her son.
Patricia is survived by her sisters Sibyl McNulty (Paul) of Sewickley, PA, and Kathie Baldwin (Rick) of Syracuse, NY; her children Sini Ryder (Steve) of Itasca, TX, and Jason Blair (Amanda) of Granbury, TX; her grandchildren Jeff Ryder, Sam Ryder, Tina Ryder, Cody Hobgood (Lily), Courtney Blair, and Madison Blair; her great-grandchildren Noah Ryder and Serenity Ryder; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Merian Digel; her father, Charles Shepherd; and her beloved husband, Harry Blair.
