Nina Bell Lenard, age 80, passed away on January 19, 2026. She was born on December 15, 1945.
Nina grew up in Lone Oak, Texas, and later made her home in Alvarado, Texas, where she spent many years surrounded by family and friends. She was married to the love of her life, Jessie Charles Lenard, and together they built a family rooted in love.
Nina worked most of her career in the deli department at Albertsons, where she was known for her kindness and strong work ethic. She was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Alvarado, Texas.
She was a loving mother to Susan Lenard, Tammy Ware, and Steven Lenard. Nina was also a proud grandmother to Craig & wife Sonja, Timothy & wife Lisa, Kelsey, Becky, Cassie, Steven, Anthony & wife Kymi, and Josh, and she was blessed with several great-grandchildren whom she dearly loved.
Nina found joy in the simple things—being outdoors, reading, collecting anything and everything, and especially celebrating Christmas, which held a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Lenard; her daughter, Susan Lenard; and her parents, Donald and Aline McBride.
Nina is survived by her son, Steven Lenard, and her daughter, Tammy Ware, along with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know and love her.
