Mona Kay Boots Robinson

Mona Kay Boots Robinson went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2018 in Cleburne, Texas.

Kay was born on November 21, 1951 in Cleburne, Texas the youngest child of Guidel and Ruby Saylors. She was born Mona Karyn Saylors - but was always known as Kay or KayBug, she was raised in Itasca, Texas. 

On April 28, 1968 she married Don Boots, from Hillsboro, Texas. Together they had three daughters. Shelley, Shanah and Sheila. 

She attended Hill College and moved on to TCU later working towards a degree in business administration.

Kay was in a motor vehicle accident the morning of June 6, 1990 that left her paralyzed from the neck down (a quadriplegic). She was only 38 at the time. She lived life to the fullest the next 28 years. 

Kay is preceded in death by her father, Guidel Saylors; her mother, Ruby Saylors; her oldest sister, Faidel Saylors Hester; her brother, Robert Saylors; her sister, Elsie Saylors Dunlap Hudson; her son in law, Pat Peralta; and her grandson, Ethan Sewell. 

Survivors include her three daughters, Shelley Boots Sorensen Coulter and her husband Chris, Shanah Boots Sewell and her husband Greg, and Sheila Boots Peralta widow to Pat. Grandchildren: Ruby, Robert and Rita Sorensen - Hanah, Mason, Gavin and Chloe Sewell - Becca, Ashlyn, Gabby, Grace and Sofie Peralta. Sister, Janice Saylors Sain Shivers and husband Freddy; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, her caregivers and of course her dog Cuddles that she adored!
