Mary Elizabeth Garcia

Mary Elizabeth (Basham) Garcia was born on October 16, 1957, at Johnson County Memorial Hospital in Cleburne, Texas. She was the beloved daughter of Louie Dell Basham and Pearlie Maxine (Peppers) Basham.

Mary is survived by her devoted husband, Mickey Garcia of Alvarado, and her three daughters: Mistelle Crowell and husband Fred of Alvarado, Contessa Young and husband Dino of Silsbee, and Jessica Garcia of Alvarado. She is also survived by her two brothers, Billy Basham of Alvarado and Rondell Basham and wife Denese of Commerce, as well as her fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Maxine Basham, and her stepson, Christopher Mark Cain.

She was a loving, amazing, and wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family deeply. Mary had a special love for dolphins, angels, and the timeless charm of John Wayne.

Her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will forever be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
