Mary Lee (Thomas) Bossert

Mary Lee Thomas Bossert, April 23, 1931 - August 9, 2024, passed away in Fort Worth, Texas at 93 years old. 

Mary was born in Alvarado, Texas to Viola Rose and Hurchell A. Thomas of Alvarado. Mary graduated from Alvarado High School in 1948, and from the University of North Texas with a BBA in 1953. She taught for 4 years in Dallas ISD, then returned to Alvarado ISD, and taught for 35 years, before retiring in 1992.  Mary married Henry Bossert in 1977.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by several cousins, and brother-in-law, Jack Morris, stepson, Don Bossert and many friends. 

Special thanks to cousin, Faye Holcomb, who cared for Mary since 2005, and staff at Bethesda Gardens Assisted Living, City View Nursing & Rehab Center and Heart to Heart Hospice.
