Lynette Grissom
September 21, 1953 – March 17, 2026
Lynette Grissom, 72, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026. She was born on September 21, 1953, in Saint Jo, Texas, to Billy and Lois Hilton.
Lynette grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas, where she spent her early years surrounded by family and friends. She later married Neal Lindsey, and together they built a life centered on love, home, and family. Lynette dedicated her life to being a homemaker, finding great pride and joy in caring for her family and creating a welcoming and loving home.
She made her home in Alvarado, Texas, where she was known for her kind heart, warm spirit, and deep devotion to those she loved. Lynette enjoyed shopping, caring for animals, cooking meals for her family, planting flowers and shrubs, and celebrating every holiday with enthusiasm and joy. Her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Lynette was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Hilton.
She is survived by her loving husband, Neal Lindsey; her father, Billy Hilton; her children, Michael Camp, Jason Camp, Shelly Camp, Chevy Rose Millerd, and Michael Camp, Jr.; her grandchildren, Michael Camp, Terry Camp, Brianne Camp-Reineck, Brett Camp-Reineck, and Ethan Camp-Reineck; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings: sisters Judy Hendrix, Jayna Linden Meyers, and Laura Hewitt, and brothers Joe Hilton, Bill Hilton, and James Hilton, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Lynette will be remembered for her loving nature, her dedication to her family, and the warmth she brought to every gathering and holiday she hosted. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured and the memories she created with those she loved.
