Liz was born in Cleburne, TX on July 22, 1966 to Junior and Bobbie Day. She was a lifelong resident of Alvarado, graduating AHS in 1984. She married her high school sweetheart on June 13, 1989. Through the years, she became the mother of 3 children that she cherished more than anything. She dedicated her life, being a stay at home mother. 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter soon followed. Liz lived life as she wanted, always surrounded by family. She was the type of person that never met a stranger and was love by all. Unfortunately, she began growing ill and was diagnosed with cancer in November. She fought many months, until she could fight no longer. God called her home on Monday, February 10, 2020. She will forever be missed. Liz was preceded in death by both of her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Joe Stewart, daughters, Whitney Maxwell, and Aubree, and son, Mason, 4 grandsons, Vance, Von, Ferris and Sterling, and granddaughter, Harlow. Also survived by brother, Doug Day and his wife, Gayle Day, brother, Rickey Day and his wife, Dawn Day, nephew, Jason Day and great nieces, Konztance and Hannah Day.
