Lisa Ann Taylor Rhodes passed away peacefully on March 25, 2023 with her family at her side in Fort Worth, Texas as she was received in heaven by her Lord, Jesus Christ.
Lisa was born on April 1, 1957 in Amarillo, Texas to Vernon and Fran Taylor. Lisa moved with her family from Amarillo, Texas to Arlington, Texas at the age of 6 weeks. She graduated from Arlington High School and then attended college at The University of Texas Arlington. Upon graduation of college, Lisa began a career as a police officer at UTA. After a severe injury, she left the workforce but stayed as active as possible with her physical limitations. She invited Jesus into her life in 2010 and her brother-in-law Jody was proud to have the privilege of baptizing her. She continued her walk with the Lord throughout the rest of her life.
Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Fran Taylor and her brother, Bruce Taylor.
Lisa is survived by her devoted son, Ryan Rhodes, her sister, Trisha Kennedy and husband Jody, her sister-in-law, Karen Taylor and many nephews and nieces including Aaron Burch, Casey Kennedy, Sarah Kennedy, Beatrice Dollar, Sean Taylor, Chris Taylor, Nicole, Natalie and Kayla Rodriguez and many precious friends and extended family.
