Lena Elaine Wolinski left this earthly plane to meet the Lord on December 2nd, 2021. She was born on May 7th, 1963 to her adoring parents Royce and Mertie Groves in Fort Worth, Texas.
Lena became a graduate of Alvarado High School in 1981, and went on to receive a cosmetology license in order to start her career as a hair dresser. She was a celebrated member of her community where she amassed many friends with her shining personality and sense of humor. Lena was also a devoted attendee of Lifegate Church in Burleson. She enjoyed her job and hobbies such as fishing, hunting and dancing. Lena was truly the most herself as a 'Mimi' to her grandchildren, whom she loved with all her heart.
Lena is preceded in death by her father Royce Groves and beloved husband Gary Wolinski.
Family left to cherish Lena's legacy are her mother Mertie Groves, her son Ryon Wood and partner Stormi Vaughn, daughter Terra Wood Ward and husband Ryan Ward; the father of her children and life-long friend Craig Wood, siblings Lanny Price, Shellie Groves, James Samuel, Curtis Samuel and Lanna Lafountain, as well as the grandchildren she doted on; Keeli Wood, Gunner Ward, Jayton Hanna, Maddox Ward and Malachi Ward; in addition to numerous friends and family members.
