Lena Fay Fincher

Lena Fay Fincher, a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on January 28, 1941, in Whitehouse, Texas, Lena was a beacon of love and support throughout her life.

In 1957, Lena married the love of her life, Freddy Ross Fincher. Together, they built a beautiful family, welcoming five children: Freddy Fincher, Mark Fincher, Dana Fincher Thompson, Tracy Fincher, and Stacey Fincher Oviedo. Lena's devotion to her family was unparalleled, and she was known for her nurturing spirit and unwavering support. She is Proceeded in death by her Mother JoAnn Tomlin, her Father Alvin Tomlin, her husband Freddy Fincher and her Brothers Lloyd Tomlin, Doug Tomlin and Dan Tunmire. She is survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

For 45 years, Lena made her home in Burleson, Texas, where she became a cornerstone of comfort for all who entered. Her cooking skills were legendary but beyond her talents in the kitchen, Lena was a gifted artist.

Lena's warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy is one of love and compassion, her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. She leaves behind a lasting impact on those who were fortunate enough to know her, and her spirit will continue to inspire future generations.
