Lavada Harlow

Lavada Harlow passed away peacefully on May 25th, 2022 in Forth Worth, Texas. She was born March 19th, 1943 in Fort Stockton, Texas to parents Dorothy and Wiley Blanton.

Lavada would go on to marry the love of her life, Edward Harlow on May 19th, 1961; and they had two children together; Edward Harlow Jr. and Lanita Lynn Harlow. Lavada was also a member of the Orchid Society, and raised many beautiful orchids in her greenhouse. She adored her Yorkie puppy named Bella Rose, whom loved her just as much.

Lavada is preceded in death by her daughter Lanita Harlow, and brothers Billy D. Blanton and Wiley F. Blanton.

Those left to cherish her legacy include her husband of 61 years, Edward Harlow, son Edward Harlow Jr, brother Peter D. Blanton, half brothers Lawrence A. Young and Gustuf E. Young; as well as grandchild Taylor White and wife Jennifer. 

A Memorial Service will  be held at 11:00 a.m on June 11th at Haltom City Library in Haltom City, Texas
