Lauren “LaNea” Hinson Rejcek

December 31, 1964 – October 29, 2025

Lauren LaNea Rejcek, known lovingly to most as LaNea, was received into Heaven on Wednesday evening, October 29, 2025. She was born December 31, 1964, in Tarrant County, the beloved daughter of Aubrey and Beverly Hinson, forever their New Years gift.

A wonderful homemaker and an extraordinary cook, LaNea was the heart of her household. She devoted her life to caring for her family and children whom she cherished. She managed every detail of home life with great skill and care—from keeping the pantry stocked to handling the family’s finances. Her husband Larry often said he couldn’t have done it without her, to which he can never express his appreciation. 

At home, LaNea shared her days with her two beloved dogs, Bailey and Harper, who brought her endless joy and companionship. She also had a deep love for plants—she could grow anything from anything, bringing life and greenery to their home, a reflection of her nurturing spirit. 

LaNea is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, Larry Rejcek; their 2 children, Nicolas Rejcek and Jordyn Rejcek. Her brothers, Shawn Hinson and wife Linda, Lance Hinson and wife Tammy. Uncle Jerry Hinson and wife Etta, cousin Patricia Harris and husband Dan. Nephew Johnathan Mitchell and wife Kristi, and their 2 daughters. Niece Madalyn Miller and husband Thomas, and their 2 sons. As well as numerous extended cousins. 

LaNea will be deeply missed by her friends and family, who will forever cherish her warmth, her care, and her steady love and legacy of matriarchy she leaves behind. She will be remembered with great love. The family asks you to join in not saying goodbye, but see you later. A private viewing will be held at Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home Alvarado on Tuesday, November 4th at 1:00 p.m., followed by a graveside service at Grandview Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
