Larry Gene Pollard

Larry Gene Pollard passed away Monday morning, April 3, 2023 at Community Hospice in Burleson, Texas. Larry was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Samuel Earl Pollard and Lillie Mae Harmon Pollard along with 2 brothers, Robert and Earl Ray and one sister Theresa. Larry met Norma in 1977, she was the love of his life and they were married on December 29, 1978, he would sing songs but change the words and make her laugh and smile!  Larry loved riding motorcycles and talking on the CB radio with Norma by his side. They celebrated 44 years of marriage this past December, what a legacy for his kids and grandkids! Larry had three sons from his previous marriage Brandon, Brian and Chris Gill. Larry and Norma have two sons Robert and Larry Pollard. He loved hosting parties at his house for his family and friends, His favorite past time was feeding ice cream sandwiches to Henry, the Winnie dog. He worked for Cleburne Ford as a mechanic for 10 years, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge and he loved going to the Casinos. He wore a hat everywhere he went, he was most proud to wear his Choctaw hat.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Lillie Pollard, Infant Son, Brandon Pollard, Sister, Theresa Franklin and Brother, Robert Pollard.

Larry is survived by wife, Norma Lee Pollard, Sons, Brian and Chris Gill, Robert and Larry Pollard, Brother Earl Ray Pollard and wife Ann Pollard. Larry has 7 Grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
