Larry Gene Kidd

Larry Gene Kidd passed away peacefully on September 10, 2021 at the age of 66. He spent his last hours in his home surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, James, his mother Corine and his son, Larry A. Kidd. He is survived by his wife, Tammy, his daughter, Dusty and his granddaughters, Maeson and Blaise.

Larry was a family man, he worked hard his whole life to take care of his family. He spent 41 years as an over the road truck driver and 11 years locksmith. It was during his time driving a truck that he met the love of his life, Tammy Swinney. They were married shortly after and together raised 2 children. They celebrated their 41st anniversary in June. Larry loved his granddaughters and loved being a papa to them. He was a great story teller and in life he loved to do woodworking, camping, fishing and genealogy. He Will be greatly missed, but the family finds peace knowing he is reunited with his son, Larry(Andy).

A short graveside ceremony will be held on Saturday September 18th, 2021 at Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado, Texas.
