It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Larry M. Campbell, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Larry left us peacefully on January 4, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on March 20, 1950, in Sherman, Texas, to Timothy A. and Edna B. Campbell, Larry grew up in Alvarado, Texas, where he learned the values of hard work, dedication, and the importance of family and country. Following high school graduation, Larry joined the United States Army and served two tours in Vietnam.
Larry spent many years as a Union Iron Worker, building a legacy of strength and craftsmanship throughout his career. He married the love of his life, Rose Moore Campbell, and during their 35 years together they built a home filled with love and laughter. They lived in Mansfield, Texas.
Larry was a member of the Methodist Church in Alvarado, Texas, where his faith and kindness touched the lives of many. He was a man of simple joys, finding happiness in the small things in life. He loved spending time working in his yard, he adored being with his grandsons, Thomas William Fisher Jr. and Joshuah Campbell Fisher, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Family dinners and gatherings were some of Larry's greatest joys, where his warmth made everyone feel at home. He was known for his love of board games, especially dominoes, and could always be counted on for a friendly challenge. His laughter, generosity, and strong presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Tim (Hoss) and Bea Campbell; his brothers, Tuggy and Wayne Campbell; He is survived by his loving wife, Rosie Campbell; daughter, Mecca Wolfe; grandsons, Thomas and Joshuah Fisher; his sister, Mary Kay Watson and her husband, Ronnie; his sisters Doris Cawvey and her husband, Malcolm, and Dorothy Hanson and her husband, Ron; brother; Corey Campbell as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
