Larriee was born to Frank Howerton of Holton, Kansas and Sarah Cogrove of Oskaloosa, Kansas on April 6th, 1952, and passed away on February 23rd, 2022, at home in Alvarado, Texas.
Larriee Hooper was a Class of 1971 Holton High School graduate.
Mrs. Hooper relocated to Fort Worth Texas in 1976 where she met James Hooper and they married on April 6th, 1977. Larriee and James had three daughters during their 45 years of marriage, Candice, Misty and Sara. Larriee worked in the Medical Billing field for 12 years at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas retiring in December 1995. Upon her retiring Larriee spent much of her time attending the many sporting events, school events and hosting regular sleepovers with her 7 Grandchildren. She was a devout Christian and was a member of New Heart Family Worship Center in Cleburne, Texas. Amongst her many health battles her proudest victory was being a 7-year breast cancer survivor. Larriee never gave up, she fought without ever complaining and always with a positive attitude and infectious smile. Larriee was the definition of selfless. Larriee loved life and was especially fond of her many rescued animals domestic and wild.
Larriee is survived by her Husband James of Alvarado, TX, Daughter(s) Candice (Roy) Boyd of Joshua, TX, Misty Black of Joshua, TX and Sara (Cody) Olson of Godley, TX, Brother Richard Howerton of Manhattan, KS Grandchildren Clayton (Danielle) Boyd of Cleburne, TX Blake and Kirsten Boyd of Joshua, TX, Collin and Kaleb Black of Joshua, TX Makayla and Kaydence Olson of Godley, TX Great Grandchildren Weston and Waylon Boyd of Cleburne, TX.
