Julia Louise Hosier (Benson), 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021, with her daughter at her side. Julia was born on March 12, 1933 in Winters, Texas and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. As a longtime resident of Alvarado and The Covenant Place in Burleson, she enjoyed playing 42, puzzles, and reading mysteries on her Kindle. She is reunited with her husband, Earl Stevens Hosier, her parents, Franklin B. and Myrtle Benson, her daughter Cynthia Ann Gray. Loved ones waiting to see her again: Daughter, Karen Rayburne and husband, Byron of Alvarado, Brother, W.M. Benson of San Antonio; Grandchildren: Jr Rayburne, wife Jessica; Cassandra Stone, husband Jeremy; Camra Mitchum, Casey Bennett, husband, Jason, and Nikki Clark, husband Shawn; Great-grandchildren: Trey, Maddison, Morgan, Tanner, Alyssa, Dacie, Aaron, Tatum, Dax, Lily, Adalynn, Brody. Great-Great Grandchildren: Shevy and Allie.
Arrangements
Celebration of Life: 10 a.m. Monday, August 16th at Clayton Kay Vaughan in Alvarado. Interment: Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado following the service. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 15th at Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home.
