On January 18, 2023, Juan Jacob Torres, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa, and friend passed away at the age of forty-seven. Juan was born in Dallas, Texas, on January 12, 1976, the oldest child to Rhonda Grimes and Panteleon Torres Jr. He grew up in Alvarado and considered it his hometown.
God and his family were the most important aspects of his life. He was a loving husband to Allison and devoted father to Cassius. Juan was the protector of his family and encouraged them to be tough. He always influenced faith in his family. He wanted us to be thankful for the blessings we have. Juan’s love and charming nature connected with so many people anywhere he went and never met a stranger. He is the most generous individual who would give to those in need over himself. His smile and laughs were infectious. On top of being a tremendous family member and friend, he was also the greatest hype-man to his son, nieces, and nephews during any sports they participated in which motivated them to be the best they could be. Juan will truly be missed.
Juan is survived by his mom Rhonda Grimes, father Panteleon Torres Jr., wife Allison, son Cassius and Kane, daughters Jaida and Breanna, sisters; Alisha, Latisha, Racheal, brother-in-laws Brad, David, nieces Brooke, Candra, nephews; Ty, Gabe, Jayden, Gavin, grandchildren Dawson and Ariya, and Stepfather Shane Whitehead.
Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church, 207 US-67, Alvarado, TX, on Saturday, January 28th, at 2:00 p.m. Celebration of Juan’s life will be held immediately after at the Argumaniz’s residence, 3016 CR 808, Cleburne, TX, 76031
