Joyce Louise McLaughlin

August 16, 1936 – June 28, 2025

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Joyce Louise McLaughlin.  She was proceeded by her parents Harry and Leona Durham, sister Carol Mende and brother Richard Durham as well as grandson Matthew. She leaves this earth as a Mother survived by Cynthia Harman, Richard McLaughlin, and Kandy Smith.  She as a Grandmother survived by Tina, Sherry, Reena, Richard, Amber, Andrew, and Rochelle. Step Grandchildren, Great grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren so numerous that they surrounded her with love.

She loved art, golfing, sewing and writing.  She worked as an accountant and she supported her husband , John McLaughlin, who passed before her, through a distinguished military and avionics career.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Friday July 11, 2025 at First United Methodist Church Alvarado. Burial will be 2:30 pm Friday July 11, 2025 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. Texas. Visitation will be Thursday July 10, 2025 from 6-8:00 pm at Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home
