Joe Steven Chickering-Leija

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Joe Steven Chickering-Leija, who left this world too soon at just three months old. Joe was born to parents Brittany Paige Glendenning and Christian Chickering-Leija Sr. on May 21st 2024, bringing immense joy and love to our family. Though his time with us was brief, Joe touched the lives of many, especially his adoring siblings: Rylee Chickering-Leija, Rebecca Chickering-Leija, Emmie-Joe Chickering-Leija, Christian Chickering-Leija Jr., David Chickering-Leija, and Reese Chickering-Leija. Each of them held a special bond with him, cherishing every moment they spent together. Joe's gentle spirit will forever remain in their hearts, a reminder of the love that unites them as a family. Joe is also mourned by his grandparents Dwayne Glendenning, Andrew Leija, Jamie Leija, and Melanie Hewitt, aunts, uncles, and a host of relatives and friends who were eagerly looking forward to watching him grow. His smile, though fleeting, will be remembered as a radiant light that brightened our lives. In honor of Joe's memory, we invite those who knew him to join us in celebrating his life. A service will be held at Clayton Kay Vaughn funeral home, where we will share stories and memories of our precious boy. Rest peacefully, dear Joe. You are forever loved and will be deeply missed.
