Jean (Thomas) Frederick

Winnoa Jean Frederick, 89, of Grandview passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 at a Grandview Nursing Home. 

Visitation: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Funeral: 11:00 a.m. at Grandview Church of Christ. Interment: Grandview Cemetery. Pallbeares: Chatt Roden, Daniel Roden, Kirk Roden, Jaxen Roden, Jaren Roden, and Emmitt Roden.

Jean was born August 26, 1930 in  Johnson County, Texas, the daughter  of Daphne and Herman Thomas. She graduated from  Covington High School. She married James “Buddy” Rhone who passed away a year later. Jean then worked at a Feed Store as a bookkeeper. She later married  Leon Frederick she was a homemaker after his passing she worked as a Sales Clerk for Sears Outlet stores in Hillsboro.

Jean is preceded in death by her 2  husbands; her parents; sister, Gerry Willmon; and brother, Jim Thomas.

Those left to cherish Jean’s memory: Daughters, Jaime Roden and her husband Randy of Waxahachie,  Janet Weiner of California; step-sons, Dwane and his wife Darlene of Delores, Colorado, and Royce Frederick and his wife Susie of Fort Worth, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren; and brother Kenneth Thomas of Rio Vista.
