Jamie McCullough-Shaw

Jamie McCullough-Shaw of Burleson, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pasadena, Texas on August 8, 1959, to Jack and Donna Satterfield. As one of seven children, Jamie spent her youth in Kansas with her siblings Bonnie, Sandy, Jimmy, Wanda, John, and Denis, always busy and having fun. After marrying her first husband, she found herself back in Texas while he was on active duty. Later in life, she met and married Daniel Shaw, the love of her life.

Jamie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Jamie loved being a mom and was there for anyone who needed a mom. Raising five children, and welcoming all of their friends with open arms, Jamie was always available for a hug and a laugh. Jamie was blessed with several grandchildren and made sure they never lacked for lots of love, toys, and fun. She was active in the local scouting community, and became a leader in Cub Scout Pack 1213, before becoming a leader in Boy Scout Troop 9299. She was a dedicated friend to many, especially those members of the C.O.F. and the VFW Post 9299. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary for more than 30 years.
 
She loved to go on motorcycle rides with Danny and the other members of the C.O.F. When she wasn’t helping with the scouts, or arranging events at the VFW, she was having fun bowling or spending time with friends and family. She always wanted to have a good time. She and Danny loved taking their RV and boat out on camping trips.
 
Jamie is survived by her husband Daniel, children Michele, Cody, Arthur, Jack, Lisa, Derrick, and Dustin and grandchildren Bailee, Bryson, Candice, Jimmy, Danielle, Brienne, and Hallie.
