Jackie Carl Watson passed away on August 9, 2023. Jackie was born on November 29, 1948 to James and Goldie Watson in Odessa, Texas. Jackie met Jo in 1983, she was the love of his life, they celebrated 39 years together. Jackie joined the Army and served his country in the Vietnam War. They lived in Cleburne and then moved to Alvarado in 1992. He attended Turning Point Church in Burleson, Texas. He loved the Nascar Races and seeing all of his friends at the VFW in Alvarado.
Jackie is preceded in death by his parents James and Goldie Watson, son Joseph Cornelius Watson II, daughter Jacqueline Carlene Watson and brother Hugh Watson.
Jackie is survived by his wife Jo Watson, daughter LouJean Sitler and husband Rodney, grandkids Jayda, Tonie and Brennon Sitler. Grandkids Ashley Moss and Kelsey Watson, brother Jimmy Watson and wife Johnnie and many nieces and nephews. He will be put to rest at the DFW National Cemetery.
