Henry Upchurch Obituary

Henry Joe Upchurch, 69, died March 7, 2022 in Fort Worth, TX.

Henry was born February 13, 1953 in Cleburne, Tx to Will and Janie Upchurch. He worked hard all his life. He worked for the City of Alvarado in his younger years and worked over a decade as a gravedigger for Suhor Industries. Henry loved getting up every morning and heading straight to the waffle house for coffee, biscuits and gravy. Henry loved to be of service and would help anyone in need. He loved spending time with his family, friends and his 3 dogs. Henry was a lifelong friend to the Full Gospel tabernacle and would help anytime he was needed, even when he should have been taking it easy. The last few years of his life he struggled with cancer and other illnesses. He was in and out of hospitals, doctors offices and treatment centers. God saw him in pain and took him home to be with him in heaven where he will hurt no more. Henry will be terribly missed by his friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his father Will Rogers Upchurch and his mother Janie Adelle Upchurch.

He is survived by his daughter Donna Michelle Stovall and husband James Bryant Stovall, and granddaughter Billie Jean Upchurch of Cleburne, TX.
