Heaven gained a gentle giant as the Lord called home his good and faithful servant, Harold “Scott” Ross on Thursday, January 13, 2022.
Scott was born on February 15, 1955, to Harold Rex and Dana Bradley Ross in Corpus Christi, Texas. He began school in San Diego, California and, upon the death of his dad, moved to Alvarado, where he later graduated from Alvarado High School in 1973. He earned an Associate Degree from Hill College, attended Tarleton State University, and Texas State Technical Institute, graduating in 1978.
Scott was a long- time member of Saint Anthony’s Anglican, where he served for many years in several different capacities. He also served on the board of the local Helping Hands for Jesus. His heart was truly a servant’s heart.
Preceding Scott in death are his parents and his stepfather Charles Wilson. Left to mourn his absence are his brother and wife, Steve and Lisa Ross; his nephew and wife, Brad and Niti Ross; his niece and husband Lauren and Jay Saldana; his great niece and nephews, Isla, Amon, Jaxton, and Parker; and many, many extended family members and friends.
