Emily Schingle Obituary

Emily Kathryn McKown Schingle passed away at home in Bedford, TX on November 17th, 2021 from ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). She was born December 14th, 1962, in Houston, Texas.

Emily was a 1981 graduate of Irving's McArthur High School and later of University of Oklahoma. She was a proud Sooner and member of Zeta Tau Alpha. She was also a past employee of Trinity Portfolio Advisors.

Emily was preceded in death by her parents Lois and Ray McKown. Survivors include her son Scott Schingle, and daughter Ann Schingle. Her granddaughter Harper Hughes was a welcome light in her life. She is also survived her brother Mark McKown and wife Tammy, of Monroe, LA, and his family as well as many relatives, and especially her beloved cousins. Special thanks to Candis Gray and Community Healthcare Hospice.
