Earnest J. Crownover, Sr.

Earnest Joe Crownover Sr, age 73, of Grandview, Texas passed away March 4, 2023 in Fort Worth, Tx. 
Earnest Sr. was born August 7, 1949 to JoeNell Crownover in Luling, Texas. He attended school in Itasca and Grandview, Tx and then went on to work for other employers until retiring from Johnson County Precinct 4. 
Earnest Sr. is the oldest of  8 children-  James, Lorene, Madge, Irene, Jaqueline, Donald and Marlin. Earnest Sr. has two children, his oldest- Daphne Bridgewater Webb of Crowley, Tx and youngest- Earnest Crownover Jr (Jojo) of Grandview, Tx. And a one of a kind daughter in law and caregiver, Veronica Crownover (wife of Jojo) of Grandview, Tx. Earnest Sr. was married to Carolyn Crownover for many years and leaves behind a legacy that includes eight grandchildren: Erika Webb, Alexis and Anthony Fisher- Crownover, Trayvon Webb, La’Broyeah Jackson, Devante Crownover, Earnest Crownover III, Dametrious Crownover and JaKobee Crownover and eight great grandchildren- AJ, Ariyal, Theory, Tray Jr, LaBrandon, Lj, Legend and Loyal. 
Earnest Sr served honorably as a Deacon of Bethlehem Baptist Church for many years, while assisting with the upbringing of his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. One of Earnest’s favorite pastimes was watching his grandchildren play basketball and football- it is very rare that he missed a pee-wee, select, high school, or college game.
Earnest Sr was preceded in death by his mom JoeNell Crownover in 1970, brother Donald Crownover in 2014 and great grandson Titus King Fisher- Crownover, in 2018.
