Don Baker, 90, of Alvarado died Thursday, April 22, 2021 after a brief illness. He had retired from the railroad industry with 30 years of service, and spent the next 30 years enjoying life, music, family, and friends. He was born in Lubbock, TX, December 14, 1930. He was preceded in death by his parents Don and Hallie Baker, his wife, Bonnie Baker, brother DL Baker, sister Betty Muzura, and eldest son David Baker. He is survived by son Bart Baker and wife Janice, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and dear friend Doll Matthews.
