Connie Wynne was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 1,
2026, at her home in Alvarado, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a
beloved sister, cherished friend, and a light to all who knew her.
Connie was born on January 18, 1958, in Dallas, Texas, to Ewell Lee Teer Jr. and Jerry Ann
Teer. She grew up in Cedar Hill, Texas, and graduated from Cedar Hill High School in 1976.
She later married the love of her life, Kenneth Elton Wynne, on April 10, 1999.
Connie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, known for her strength, kindness, and
unwavering spirit. She was a true fighter, facing life’s challenges with courage and grace.
Even in her hardest days, her love for others never wavered.
She never met a stranger—her warm heart and welcoming nature made everyone feel like
family. Connie’s laughter, compassion, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression
on all who had the privilege of knowing her. To her family, Connie was more than a sister—
she was a best friend, a source of comfort, and a constant presence of love. The bond she
shared with those closest to her will be treasured forever.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ewell Lee Teer Jr. and Jerry Ann Teer; her
husband, Kenneth Elton Wynne; and her son, Scott Layne Wynne.
She is survived by her grandson, Cael Patrick Wynne; her sisters, Kelly Jackson and
husband Wade, Cindy Pitts and husband Mack, Kim Vance and husband Jeff, and Lisa
Moore and Randy; her brothers, Ewell Lee Teer III and wife Sherry, and Gary Lee Teer and
wife Cindy; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of Connie’s life will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Clayton
Kay Vaughn Funeral Home in Alvarado, Texas 76009. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. –
1:00 p.m. before the service.
The family asks that you keep them in your prayers during this difficult time as they honor
and remember her beautiful life.
Connie’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her, and her legacy of kindness
and love will never be forgotten.
