Ciji Ball-Rotenberry Obituary

Ciji Laurisa Ball-Rotenberry
April 17, 1983 – February 1, 2026

Ciji Laurisa Ball-Rotenberry, 42, passed away on February 1, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and selfless care for others. Born on April 17, 1983, in Fort Worth, Texas, Ciji was the daughter of Billy Ball and Lisa Coffey-Price, and she grew up in Burleson, Texas.

Ciji was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. On May 21, 2014, she married Tommy Rotenberry, and together they built a blended family rooted in love and loyalty. She was a proud and devoted mother to her daughter, Emmi Elizabeth Marie Anderson, born in 2009 to her and Michael Anderson. She was a loving bonus mother to Jordan, Darrel, Jonathan, and Caryn Rotenberry. Her heart grew even larger as she embraced her role as “bonus grandmother” to 13 grandchildren.

Ciji had a special love for the outdoors, especially fishing, where she found peace and joy. She was passionate about animal rescue and was always willing to step in to help animals—and people—in need. Her compassion knew no limits.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Joshua Anderson; her grandparents Durwood and Elizabeth Coffey; and her grandparents Bill and Marie Ball.

Ciji is survived by her husband, Tommy Rotenberry; her daughter, Emmi Anderson; her mother, Lisa Price, and stepfather, Dan Price; her father, Billy Ball, and stepmother, Rhonda Ball; her brother, Billy Shane Ball, and wife, Jaclyn; her niece, Addison Ball; her nephews, Parker and Preston Ball; her bonus children, Jordan, Darrel, Jonathan, and Caryn Rotenberry; her 13 bonus grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Ciji will be remembered for her generous heart, her fierce love for her family, her dedication to helping others, and the warmth she brought into every life she touched. Her spirit lives on in the countless lives she changed simply by caring.
